Spelling:
Monday: Copy and study list A words. The homework helper should check it, have
the student make any corrections needed, and then initial the page.
The spelling book should return to school Tuesday morning.
Tuesday:
Copy and study list B words, following the procedure outlined above. The
spelling book should return Wednesday morning.
Wednesday: Words Without Vowels- In the spelling books, the student will
write each spelling word, but replace all the vowels with an underline. Then
they will go back to the beginning of the list and try to fill in the correct
missing vowels. The homework helper should check it, have the student
make any corrections needed, and then initial the page.
Thursday:
Words Without Consonants- Same
as Words Without Vowels, but replacing the consonants with an underline and
then filling in.
Then have the
homework helper give the student an oral test of all words in preparation for
the spelling test on Friday.

homepage: http://www.spellingcity.com/JMForrester/
Here students can access their weekly
spelling words and use them in a wide variety of fun games and activities on
the computer!
